How to wire a third detector to Agilent 1100

Disposition:
VWD and MSD are already connected and work fine, now I need to add RID.
Both detectors and the ChemStation are individually hooked to a network switch. VWD is at the end of daisy chain with autosampler and pump. There is a "Remote" cable going from MSD to the pump.
All equipment is very old, purchased used, ChemStation runs on Win2k, if that matters.

Question:
How do I wire my RID? Should I add it to the daisy chain of the main stack? Should I connect it to the switch, just like MSD? Do I need another "Remote" cable? Do I need another JetDirect Card?

This should be straightforward. Route the eluent through the VWD then through the RID (NOT the other way around, RID flow cell runs at lower pressures, or you could crack the RID flow cell if RID first).

You do not need a 2nd jet direct card (I'm somewhat sure), but you'll need to use a LAN cable to connect it to your existing stack. The software just uses one LAN address for the modules in the Configuration Editor.

Should I wire them in the same sequence in the LAN daisy chain? Now it goes pump-autosampler-VWD-PC.

Should I make it

pump-autosampler-VWD-RID-PC or
pump-autosampler-RID-VWD-PC?

Computer CPU goes to the Jet Direct card. After that, the order of LAN cables doesn't make any difference.

Thanks a lot, it was indeed pretty straightforward. I basically got this detector out of a trash bin, and it just works!
