We are looking to purchase a used API 4000 QTrap LC/MS/MS if anyone may know of a nice unit available for us. Thank you.

Contact your local AB Sciex sales rep. AB Sciex has been selling factory refurbished and service-certified instruments. Do yourself a favor an splurge on the factory refurbished instrument. I had a bad experience with a "service certified" instrument last year.

It all depends upon who is refurbishing the system .. you should check who is providing the work and you may want to ask for the engineers OEM
training certificate. @ Mass Spec Detectives all of our engineers are OEM trained.
