Light scattering detector cleaning?

Hi,

I've started using Viscotek TDA 302 with HPLC system for protein SEC-LS analysis. I noticed that LALS baseline is slowly raising every analysis... Other operators told me it's OK, just when it gets too high we need to make service call to get the cell cleaned. I would rather like to try avoiding problems than regularly solve them by getting service engineer on-site.

According to manual, I can clean it by filling the detector with 100% MeOH overnight. Would that work? Does anyone has any other recommendations?

the key in cleaning is to keep ELSD at higher temperature. We usually use water to clean ELSD. base line elevation can be caused by column bleed too.

It's not evaporative detector.
