How to remove FID from 6890 configuration

Should be easy but cannot find in manuals how to remove FID from Agilent 6890 configuration using keyboard. I use just GC/MS and FID is just the pain in the *ss during method development. Please advise.

If you are using Agilent software the way to do it is to close instrument control and data analysis.
On the desktop there will be a shortcut to configuration. You should be able to re configure your instrument there.
