Possible to Combine two user created libraries?

Hi,
I am currently working on creating a mass spec library for fragrances. I want to get my coworker to help building it as well because there are so many compounds in Naturals as well as synthetics and specialty bases to enter. Is it possible to combine two separate user created libraries into one? I am currently using Chemstation Enhanced data analysis.
Cheers,
Dan

Dan - when my co-worker and I built our company's GCMS fragrance search library on MSD Chemstation about two decades ago, we just loaded our entries into the same LIBRARY.D.

Actually, there is a way I know how to do this (at least, worked on the older versions, haven't tried too recently). One would use the command line and command GETMSREF from library #2 (for example) and then the entry number and press Enter, which brought that MS spectrum into the register. Then on would "Add New Entry" into library #1 with that, and fill in the appropriate boxes.

But I think you want one of those macro things, or magic. Both are beyond my capabilities.

Hello Dan,

Please make backup copies of the libraries first.
In Chemstation Menu
View -> Parametric Retrieval
Select Library you want to append
Library -> Subset Library
Click "search"
select radio button "Append to library"

You can use Lib2Nist to convert to NIST format, so you can see/check the results.
