Hi all,

I thought I'd put up a link to this website we developed (http://www.hplcsimulator.org). It's a free, open-source HPLC simulator. It's great for playing around with the fundamental parameters of (U)HPLC. I also use it in the lab because you can calculate things like what backpressure you should expect for a given set of experimental conditions. It's also quite useful for teaching - we put up some sample problem sets you can download. Hope it helps!

Paul

I tried the program and I liked it! Very useful, especially for in-classroom use!

I wish that there were more compounds to choose from, especially more polar ones such as 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, benzamide, or aromatic acids ( I realize that ionizable compounds may make RT prediction difficult).
