Hello

We' re currently working on Naproxen forced degradation studies.
Does anyone have some indication on what to expect (expected degradation conditions, acidic or basic atc...?)

Thanks!
There are three degredation products for naproxen .
Degredation 1 : 2-acetyl 6-methoxy naphthalene
Degradation 2 : 6-methoxy 2-naphthoic acid
Degradation 3 : methyl (2S) -2- (6-methoxy naphthalene-2- yl) propionate

Forced degredation conditions :
1) acidic degradation : 2N HCL at 60 C for 15 min.
2) alkali degradation : 5N NaOH at 60 C for 4 hours.
3) peroxide degradation : 30% H2O2 for 2 hours.
4) water degradation : at 60 C for 4 hours.
5) thermal degradation : at 105 C for 24 hours.
6) humidity degradation : 90% RH at 25 C for 7 days.
