Empower -- quantitation and labels

Is there an online resource that completely explains how to set up calibration and quantitation in Water's Empower? I see snippets on thread to thread here -- for example, I must label S101 or something like that, and unknowns UK01, or something like that. I need the very basics, because I can't figure out where those labels are supposed to come from. And I can't ask this forum useful complete questions without the basics.

What exactly are you looking to accomplish here?
You can make sample/standard labels anything you want; your use and configuration will guide you to how you do that.

When in doubt, use the Wizards to create sample set methods.
The labels will be very consistent that way. This, in turn, makes report method writing lots easier (allowing you to use a single table for several different "groups" of samples within a run).
