Hello everyone.

I just read a post about this error (cannot bring MS online, possible bad address or existing lock)on a 5975 in which the solution was to reboot the MS without venting. I can tell you that I've tried this numerous times to no avail....continuous 3 blinking lights on the front of the MS which depict no communication....do I naturally assume (this is GBIP communication) that the MS could be the problem if the 6890 I also have attached communicates with no issue (this is to say the VISA assistant finds it no problem)? I've also replace the GBIP cable to the MS as well.

I've done everything I know how to do, including a fresh install of Windows 2000 (LOL) and MSD Chemstation. I'm at my wits end.

Thank you in advance.
What version of Chemstation. I the latest version that supports HPIB is D.03. Anything later will not work.
Hi,have you resolved your problem?
