Hplc software

hi, everyone
I'm a master degree student and really new at hplc world.
So, this is my problem... we recieved a donation of a UltiMate 3000 LC (pump+detector), we adapted one manual injector though we are having dificulties with the software. we have other 2 hplcs that run with peaksimple that is free. is there any possibility to use it or any other free software?

I couldnt find how to connect the chromatograph to this software to retrieve the data... just how to analyse peaks made in other program.
