Hellow every body, I am going to analyze amino acids on HPLC. I want to know how we can extract amino acids from soil, leaves, yogurt, honey, tea leaves etc.
In short I want to know the extraction procedure of amino acids from above materials.

Best regards
Praveen
Praveen,

There is no simple answer to your request. Extraction of amino acids can be a complex process depending on your sample and whether you want free amino acids or total amino acids. Once you do isolate the amino acids, there are several HPLC procedures available and the best one to use also depends on your sample requirements and equipment available. You can check out the following link for information about amino acid analysis.

Good luck with your endeavors.
