Internal Standard Selection for Variety of Analytes

Hello Chromatography community,
I am working on a assay that will be analyzing concentrations of various cyclic peptides through LCMS (and some other compounds ie carbamazepine). I am currently using propranolol as in internal standard for the standard curve, however I know this is not very structurally similar to my compounds and it also gives a fairly broad peak. I have been able to get very linear standard curves (r^2=0.999), but for the further development of this assay I was wondering if any of you had success with other internal standards that work for a variety of analytes (but work best for cyclic peptides).
Thanks!
