Dears im facing problem in measuring moisture at the outlet of Mol.Sieve dryer.
Analyzer sensor type is Hyper Thin Film HTF high capacitance AL2O2 cell.
sensor is installed far away near about at the distance of 50 meters from take off point. Now temperature of sample at take off is 4c and at sensor 30 to 40c (atmospheric)My question is....can this change in temp of sample effects the moisture if so pl give me technical reasons so that i can forward to my boss.
Analyzer is continuously giving very less value than the actual.
Thanks and regards.

It should still read correctly. How do you know it is reading lower than the actual? Have you got the correct flow through the probe? They will not work at all flows.

Dear Zahid,

by which means you are analyzing the moisture and how you know the moisture gives you is very less.

through our main lab reading and they check moisture with their portable moisture meter. they check the moisture with dew point measuring instrument. but they check it very close to the main process line and our analyzer is for away from the main line. :bball:
