supercritical fluid chromatograph purchase

Discussions about HPLC, CE, TLC, SFC, and other "liquid phase" separation techniques.

Greetings: In the process of buying a SFC system for chiral separations. I was wondering whether anyone had any advice/comments on the various vendors (good, bad and the ugly). Currently considering Waters/Thar and Jasco semi-prep systems for analysis and fraction collection

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

Lehman
Are you sure that you must use supercritical fluid chromatography? My understanding is that HPLC is generally much easier to handle. There are chiral stationary phases available for HPLC. We looked into SFC and quickly abandoned the idea.
