Hi all,

I have a varian 3800 GC which has not been worked for 3 years. I run it by manual injection. It has auto sampler and gas sampling valve. How can I inject by auto sampler or gas sampling valve? I have no previous experience with these. Please help me about the software for autosampler or gas sampling valve.
Thanks

First you click: 'inject', the autosampler will now start sampling and your work is done.

Hope this helps

If you follow this advice there is a good chance that you will destroy at least the syringe needle of the autoinjector - after three years in storage it is very unlikely to be properly aligned with the inlet. You also need wash bottles full of solvent etc etc

Get yourself an operators manual and study it - you might find one on the software CD that was with the instrument, or look online. If you try to learn from forums the quality of the advice can be very poor.
