Hello Everyone,
I am working with a Varian 1200 LC/MS setup that contains the Prostar 210 Pumps, PDA Detector, and the Prostar 410 autosampler. So far I we have no been able to set up automation with the autosampler because it will not start on it's own or access samples in other sample slots besides A1 (the first position).
As far as I know, all the instrument components are connected together and the software is recognizing them. However, there may be some kind of synchronization error that does not allow the autosampler to initiate without hitting the "Start" button on the autosampler window.
If you have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.
