Hi
Im pretty new to PeakSimple
Im trying to create a Excel worksheet/spreadsheet, where areas of standards and sample are automaticly transfered to certin cells in the sheet.
I know this can be done, but i cant figure it out.

Any pointers on where to start? Tutorials? Help?
I have not worked with DDE links before.

Data transfer, report generation and information distribution can all be automated utilizing PeakSimple, ChemStation and other chromatography software.

We use other methods to transfer data from PeakSimple into Microsoft Excel or Access. The DDE link can be unstable and difficult to work with.

I don't know if you are still trying to create the DDE link, but if so, this is how to do it:
You need to create an array at the end of each run. To do this, open your results window in PeakSimple. Click the "Copy" button. Open an Excel worksheet and select a single cell. Use the "Paste Special" option instead of the normal. "Paste" option. Change the selection in "Paste Special" from "Paste" to "Paste Link." I haven't noticed a difference between the Unicode or Unicode Text selections. The array will fill the worksheet with your results.
From there, you can create another tab on the worksheet and just use the "equal to" formula to put the data in the correct order. Save the workbook and the link will update the results at the end of each run. When you reopen the workbook after it has been closed, you will need to update links when prompted. If you have multiple channels, you can just copy the results from each channel into the next empty row below your last row from the first channel.
