Looking for a method.

Does anyone know of a method for analyzing plant tissue for VOCs?

Is it ok to treat it as a soil sample?

That was my initial thought but having never run this type of a sample, I was unsure. I was hoping somebody had some experience with this type of sample and could confirm this to be the best method.
