My Acquity UPLC system crashed last night and I am wondering if it because as I was in the process of running samples I decided to create a new project and copy that sample method over...does Empowers get confused that easily?

Hi JenNov,
Generally Empower doesn't get confused that easily, in my experience. Currently we have multiple users on one PC that runs Empower 3 on multiple LCs and switch between users, creating and modifying methods, reprocessing data, as well as other things, while LCs are running.

Empower shouldn't crash from using a copied sample set.
As DR said, check message center, Acquity logs, and maybe the event viewer of your LACE/acquistion client if needed.
