Empower 3 (Waters) Export Format File

Hi everyone,

I have a "problem" with the export format files (random code). I would like that Empower export my files with the exact sample name and without this random code. For example: sample name= FCPG597; export file name= FCPG**** (random code). I have tried to type in Filename (Export Method Editor), the sample name, but Empower apply this random code to all my files.

Make certain that the file type you are exporting is appropriate for the application reading it (and displaying the random code).
If changing file type does not help, examine the report method generating the names. Are fields long enough? Is it right in the print preview for the method being called into the export method?

If these notions do not help, provide more detail as to what and how you're doing things.
