Unwanted Peaks in Baseline for GC-FID Agilent 7890

Discussions about GC and other "gas phase" separation techniques.

We are dealing with some difficulties regarding the FID for 7890 Agilent model. Basically, when FID signal drops to 10 pA, some spiked peaks come out in the irregular time intervals. We have already change the FID jet and cleaned the collector electrode, but the problem still persists. I observed the problem without injecting solvents or analytes.

I would appreciate it if someone could give some troubleshooting advice to solve the issue.
It sounds like electrical or electronics problems. Please post an example of the chromatogram. Instructions on pasting chromatograms are in a sticky at the top of the GC page.
