What years were the Perkin Elmer 410 and Agilent 1050 manufactured?

Anyone have feelings on either, good/bad/indifferent?
050 a lot better?
Don't know about the PE 410, but the 2nd edition of the HP 1050 UV detector manual has a copyright date of 1992, so I would guess somewhere around 1990.

If you're looking at buying one, the 1050 would be the better choice, regardless of the relative technical merits, because there were a lot more of them sold, making parts availability much better.
