Hi,

I have a CO2 peak coming from the P&T and would like to know how to get rid of it. When I perfor a water leak check it passes....

Thanks!
You will see a CO2 peak from the dissolved CO2 in the water you purge. A certain amount stays on the trap and will be desorbed along with your analytes.

Some systems exhibit a larger CO2 peak than others.

In case your application accepts to scan masses starting at 45 you will get rid of the CO2 peak.
Please post your purge and trap parameters and the trap you are using.
