I have a problem. While running my Agilent 1200, the run stopped. The lights have all gone red on each of the stack and when I restarted everything, it didnt progress beyond this.
When starting chemstation, I got this

"Cant talk to 3500, check power, select code or GPIB address"

Whats gone wrong? I have plenty experience of using this but not much of setting it up.

Best regards,

JC
Are you sure it does not say 35900?
This is the a/d box, first off check it is powered on and connected in the stack.
What does your owner's manual say? Peruse the index for "interface connectivity" problems. What result did you get when you called their tech service support line? In general these are easy problems to fix.
