Hello all,
Does anyone know of N2 generator repair companies? Particularly near the Chicagoland area? We have a Domnick Hunter N2 generator. I spoke with Parker, but they indicated that it might take almost a month for someone to come out. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Can you ship it out for faster service?

If it's a model with internal compressors, the usual thing that goes wrong is they wear out and need servicing/exchanging. Otherwise the most common fault, I believe, is mechanical failure of internal valves. With either sort of fault, if you really can't get a "professional N2 generator technician, anyone experienced in pneumatic things could probably help. But I would let Parker (sales!) know what you think of the service and its influence on future purchases...

We have a Parker N2 generator purchased through Summit and when getting service it has been very slow and they send out the same guy who does our Mettler balance service. I think they sub contract the service to them.
We are looking into getting a new H2 generator since the cell is giving out on our current one, probably will look at someone besides Parker.
If it is the compressors on a self contained one that need changing, that is not a difficult task. The only difficult job I have had servicing our generators was replacing the hydrocarbon scrubber on the GC N2 generator, those heated connections can be difficult to get apart. Other than that not much problem to do it yourself.
