Chirobiotic T polar ionic mode

I have a general question. I'm trying to resolve a racemic compound using the polar ionic mode. I start to see a hint of separation at 2:1 acid:base ratio, but adjusting this ratio doesn't seem to have an effect on selectivity. I read that for this mode selectivity is governed by acid base ratio so I'm trying to find out why it doesn't seem to affect it here. thanks.

What is your molecule or what are the ionic functional groups?

You probably did this already but did you try 1:2 instead of 2:1?
