I need to change my Shimadzu CBM lite parameters to RS232 from the current state of cat-5...but when I try to go into my CBM Parameters in the pump (an LC-20AB set to run as LC-10A) I have the error "Not Linked" so can't adjust anything.

Any tips on linking the CBM?

I also have a CTO-20AC connected to the system.

The stack has been idle for a few months but was working fine before.
Thanks
In the function menu of the module that has the CBM lite installed in it, check that the CBM link is set to internal.
This should be accessed by pressing the function to System then to CBM Link.

Then under the VP menu you should access the Calibration menu.
You will need to enter a password the default is "00000"

Then you can access the CBM Parameter menu which has the settings for Interface.

The manual contains menu diagrams, I can copy it from ours and send it to you if required.

If you still get the error, you might need to take the case off and confirm that the connections to the CBM are ok, otherwise there might be a more serious fault with the CBM or board inside the pump which will be a job for your Shimadzu service tech.
