ECD oxidation

We are running an SRI GC in combination with an automated chamber system in field. Today I noticed both carrier and make up gas cylinders were empty while GC was still running. Does this mean ECD has been oxidized for sure? If yes, is there a chance it might still be usable or it has to be replaced now? Sorry if this topic has been discussed before.
Thanks
Hiz

There is only one true way to determine this.

Hi Rod,
I've run the system and visually it seems OK; i.e. all N2O and O2 peaks appearing as they should. Not sure if I need to run any sensitivity tests. If yes, how?
Thanks
Hiz

I assume you run a low standard every now and again to confirm sensitivity?
