Chemstation version: B.03.01 SR1

Is it possible to stop the Quat pump on a Agilent 1100 via a Chemstation Macro? If so can this macro be initiated via a command from another program? Eg: Excel

Thanks in advance
Under Sequence Parameters, check box, then choose PumpAll Off? That's what we do.
Not quite what i was looking for but thanks anyway.

I want to be run / send a command to Chemstation to shut down the pump, is this possible from a batch file?
http://www.chem.agilent.com/Library/use ... anding.pdf
page 178, refers to a macro, plus other options.
e.g if you know your system is going to run for 7 hrs, make a method that runs for 7 hrs,
then make a sequence with the 7hr method and place the shutdown function to occur as suggested by KM-USA.

External control can be done by using DDE (Dynamic Data exchange), the DDE handle changes
whenever Chemstation is shut down and restarted, which is a real pain.

If you want to turn off the pump at a set time, select Start > Agilent ChemStation > Scheduler. In Scheduler, enter the date and time, and the command is: "PumpAll Off"

You can select 'Do Once', 'Do Daily',.. Weekdays, .. Weekly.
