Calibration table vs. Reprocessed sequence

I have a question: When you calibrate on different levels using the ISTD amount in the calibration table, why do you have to write this amount also in the Sequence table (before reprocess)? How does this action affect your results?

Hello

It is for automation purpose...let say you're controlling process and you want to stop sequence when sample if out of spec (out of range). If you have amount (concentration) set up in sequence table system can calculate results during your run.
Second reason could be audit trail - if you have concentration/amount specified before your run you can not adjust results after.

You don't have to set it up in sequence table because you can always process results after.

The ISTD amount is entered after the run, in the evaluation of results step (in Offline modus of Chemstation). I don't know if this action affects my results in calibration or it is just for the Audit Trail reason.
