area difference in 2.5 um and 5 um particle

is any one observed any area difference between 2.5um particle and 5um particle in hplc analysis under similar conditions.!!!?? :alien:

If you are interested in a more concrete discussion, you will need to write a more specific / detailed question.

One option is separation power differences between the two columns, but there are other options.
