Can water solution be injected gc with ecd?

The oxygen present in the H2O will max the signal of the ECD, so no it would not be a good idea to do this.

I wouldn't. First, why would you want to inject water unless you absolutely have to. Lots of postings on that problem throughout the forum. In this case, finding some other method would be advisable. Second, an ECD is not like an FID, you can't just flip it apart when it becomes dirty. It gets expensive when it gets dirty.
More data gets better answers.

Water is not dirty. It doesn't condense inside hot ECD and water vapour is much less agressive than for instance chlorinated compounds.Push,

Ages ago we used to inject water into our systems to "steam clean" the ECD.
