Does anyone still use SS frits instead of glass wool for SS packed columns. I am having trouble finding a source for 1/8 and 1/4" SS frits. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Alltech http://www.discoverysciences.com used to have frits for 1/8 inch SS columns.
Supelco might (???) install screens in tubing sections purchased for you to pack yourself.
I have never seen 1/4 frits for GC tubing.
Restek used to have porous carbon inserts to terminate columns, I think.
Good luck,
Rod
