PAH analysis Method 610 with Diode Array Detector?

I have been tasked with getting our old Agilent 1050 running PAH's by method 610. We currently have VWD and FLD detectors. We have tried running this more than 5 years ago. My concern is with secondary confirmation of peaks. Our FLD detector never showed any of the early peaks like Naphthalene and Anthracene.
The UV detector was good for all. I want to be able to confirm all peaks in one run. I don't want to have to change columns for confirmation. Buying a new detector is an option. Can I do this with a Diode array detector in place of the FLD? Would I still use the VWD detector? Will a VWD and DAD confirm each other?
