Galaxie chromatography data system 1.9.3.2

hi,
i have a varian HPLC in my laboratory (with prostar 410 autosampler and a prostar 325 UV detector), monitored with galaxie 1.9.3.2
the problem i had today is that, when i launched the galaxie application, an error message immediately appeared and it says :

" acces violation at address 01B1CC8B in module 'VARIAN_PROSTAR325_IHM.DLL'. read of address 000002D0 "

the detector appears offline in Galaxie (status : not connected), but i was able to remote it with another external application (LC verify) which means that the detector is connected to the computer.

i checked the system file 'VARIAN_PROSTAR325_IHM.DLL' to see if someone deleted it, but it's ok, the file exists.

i restarted the computer and the devices several times but the error occurs everytime

i think i have a problem with the software galaxie, may be it's not able to connect with the detector?

what can i do? i will be gratefull if someone could help me

Hello

As the prostar 325 detector communicates via LAN (RJ45) I would check first, if there has been some Windows security update like new or updated firewall or malware scanner.

Galaxie is very sensitive to the modification of user rights/security settings....

Maybe you can disable temporary the firewall/malware scanner for testing, if the detector is connecting.
