Hi,
can somebody give me advice on this pump? The pressure in the system oscillates even after extensive purging (between 360-385PSI). Is that normal for this pump or does it mean there are still bubbles in the pump or could be for example pump seals worn out?? Should I worry about it when it gives me accurate flow rate? This pump was previously used and I have no idea about it's history...It is used for higher flow rates (1-100mL) but right now I'm using it for lower flow rates (1-2ml)..

Any advice would be appreciated
V
Your 2 piston PREPARATIVE pump has a build in low dead volume puls dampener. Maybe that dampener needs some maintenance. As long as flow is constant and your baseline not too noicy I don't see a problem.
