Are parabens useful to test single quad LC-MS?

Hi all,
I know by experience that MassLynx ZQ single quad LC-MS is not able to ionize parabens.
Is parabens thereby a good choice to test the inlet of singel quad LC-MS?
Is there any better general test compound?
