Either you already know the answer or you have not provided any where near enough info.
A warranty is only as good as the support behind it. A GC either fails within the first few months or more likely 10+ years in. What is the quality of the support for each vendor. Why only these two ? Do you already have a data system you like ?
Most warranty issues are support issues rather than hardware faults, which vendor do you trust more to sort them.
We see an issue where a company offers a 10 year parts warranty. We offer a 1 year parts and labour warranty. A customer has one of the 10 year warranty systems and two of ours but cannot get the part replaced on his system under warranty because it does not include labour and the labour charges are high. They replaced our equivalent part inc. labour for less than the labour alone of the other vendor
If both systems had of been the same price/performance would you have bought the supposedly cheaper system with 10 year warranty or the actually cheaper system that was only 1 year warranty but had lower long term support costs ?
