Importing CDF data to Chromeleon 7

I asked a Thermo-Dionex tech support rep if there was a better way to import raw data in AIA/CDF format than via Chromeleon 6. Since there isn't one (according to the support guy), what's the best way to import it? I've had some issues with locking/crashing and the data only seems to import as read-only.

I have both versions available to me so not having 6.8 isn't a huge deal.

Hi Hippy,

Unfortunately the information you have is correct in that currently the only way to import ANDI/AIA data into CM 7.1 is via CM 6.8.

Chromeleon 7.2 due for release later this year, will include an expanded import functionality, including Atlas, netCDF, ANDI and GAML.
