Cleaning multimode inlets (Agilent 7890A)

I have an MMI which is not serviceable, meaning I can't disassemble and clean or replace the gold seal. The best I can do is scrub it with a solvent dipped swab. When I first serviced the inlet I realized how poorly it had been maintained and could not for the life of me get all the gunk out, so I used about a drop of an alumina powder/solvent slurry to get the seal nice and shiney. Not sure if the alumina in the inlet was a bad idea, but I only did it that one time, and I now make sure it never gets that dirty again. But I still can't get all the gunk out of the grooves of the seal. Anybody else have an MMI, and some cleaning tips?

Agilent has an abrasive swab - but it does not do much for the grooves. A reccomendation that we got was to try a wider range of solvents when cleaning.

Thanks for the response. I just saw Agilent's video and cleaning guide. Looks to me like I'm doing a reasonably good job with what resources I have.
