PID not recording data with CHemstation B.04.03 and 6890N GC

I'm having an issue with a PID using Chemstation B.04.03. I'm getting set up to analyze VPH samples and I have a PID/FID setup in my 6890N GC. Everything was going great until I noticed that on my chromatogram the PID was not showing any area counts for my peaks. The FID however was. I recently upgraded the computer to windows 7 and the B.04.03 software, before I was Windows XP and B.03.02. When I go into the GC configuration screen, it doesn't recognize the back detector but on the GC itself, it does. Has anybody had this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Does the B.04 version require a license number for each detector or just each GC? I have only used the MSChemstation for GCs before here and the Chemstation for our LCs and I know I can't display both the UV and Florescence spectra without having two licenses when running them in tandem like your FID/PID setup.

Thanks for the reply, I think I finally found the reason. The older version of the software called the back PID as "ELCD 2" and when I went into the offline copy of the software and clicked on "signal details," it didn't list "ELCD 2" as an available signal choice. It did however show "NOD 2" as an option along with my FID. After switching my calibration table using the "NOD 2" instead of the "ELCD 2" everything appears to work fine. Crazy software stuff I guess.
