Leybold turbomolecular pump on API3200 problems

Just wondering if anyone out there might have experience with these. After changing my roughing pump oil the last time I get the "Accelerating" status in the software for about 30 minutes, then it shifts back to "venting" with the turbo pump listed as "off". I took the covers off and I don't hear the pump spinning up, though it is pretty loud in the room, but I also noticed there are no LEDs lit on the controller box. I wonder if it is possible to measure the 24v supply coming into the controller? Just want to narrow down the problem before calling in service so I have a better idea of what it is going to cost.
