Hi All.

Does anybody have a custom field for standard verification?
Example :
mean area Standard 1 (n=5)/mean area standard 2 (n=2) * wt std2/wtstd1 *100

Im new to Empower but aware you require labels in sample set to trend data

I've set up a suitable System suitability report tabulating precision, bracketing standards, USP plate, tailing etc, but custom field for above calculation is not as easy as I thought

Any help much appreciated

Long time since I used it but I think you set the first one as a standard (to calibrate against) then the second one as a "check standard" and it does the rest for you
Where can I buy the kit they use in CSI?
Thanks your reply.

Im not sure what you mean by check standards.
I thought you required a custom field to do this task.

I think you mean "Control".
But this way you check your amount of your control against the known value, by using the first one as standard.

The OP wants to calibrate on both and then check the difference.

Thanks for reply,

Im still abit confused . Do I name std 1 (n=5) as control and std 2 (n=2) as standards?
how do I factor in the standard weights?

You use std (1) as standard, and std 2 as control.
Then you can use the amount field to factor in the standard weights.
Then you make your regression line with std 1, then you calculate std 2 against this regression line.
Then you can use %deviation to see the difference

Hi ,
I figured this out and using a custom field to calculate std verifcation
thanks

Do you mind to share your custom field?
