Equipments for food testing

We are planning to buy following equipments for food testing and we have selected few options. Pls suugest the best options

1. GCMSMS --- Bruker Scion TQ, Agilent 7000B, Shimadzu TQ8030

2. ICP-OES --- Teledyne Leeman Lab Prodigy XP, Agilent 710

3. HPLC---- Agilent 1260, Shimadzu LC210, Waters Alliance

Kindly giev your reply. I specifically want review of Teledyne Leeman labs company an dtheir product and service quality

I would suggest you ask each vendor for local references. This will give you an idea of the quality of local support you can obtain for these instruments. I good instrument poorly supported could be an issue.

We have not had good luck with Leeman Labs before especially with support.

For ICP-OES we use Thermo 6300, very nice and compact unit, takes very little bench space and has been quite reliable.

For HPLC I have never had any problems from the Agilent units both 1100 and 1200 series. Easy to repair if needed and parts are usually easy to find depending on where you are located.

In my Area Service support is Ok for Leeman Lab. Can you give your view about technology of Leeman Labs Prodigy XP v/s Thermo 6300 or 6500?
