Just wondering what compounds people are using in their F band regions?

C29-C36 region what compounds are you using in this region for calibration?

I will use the combined response gained from c9 through c36 (14 peaks). If I have a client that breaks up the range - for example C10 to C28, then C29 to C36 (or C40), I will either use the same response, or use the C30 and C36 peaks if the client wants to.
If the method is set up correctly, there is normally not much of a difference here. The objective of these methods is to estimate a TPH concentration based on the assumption that the aliphatics all have similar response. If you have achieved this, then any old peak is close enough, given that the method has already compromised the concept of an exact response.
Folks want a way to verify data though, so you have a lot of slightly different calibrations, all reflecting someones particular preference for measuring that smear.
