Installed an old Varian CP4900 using Star Workstation 6.41 and integration runs fine on the two detectors (FID, TCD),
but I can not print anything after run is complete. Automated printing is enabled and all other Standard Report requirements are acivated to print the report. Chanel A and B are active but the Standard Report shows Chanal E report. Why is that?
Hi, check the method. In the reports section there is a button tot inhibe printing if checked
Already have done that. Still no printing.
Thanks
Even I think you have well done everything
Printer setup: Fill all instruments with the same printer:
Default printer HP-XXX
Instrument1 HP-XXX
Instrument 2 HP XXX
Instrument 3 HP-XXX
Instrument 4 HP-XXX
In the method: Standar report section:
Print Chromatograms Checked
Print Results Checked
Supress printout Unchecked

In control panel chek the printer HP-XXX as selected printer

Hope it helps
Hi,
Thank you for helping. Did all that, and sill not printing at the end of the run. When I try to print manually, after the run is complete, it does print but with no results (" This channel contains no results" ), and on the printout under the Channel it says: E = TCD E and not TCD B or TCD A.
Why it is trying ro print for channel E and not for channel A and B which my method is set up for. Any other ideas?
Thanks
One of the questions is: why is it trying to collect the data for channel E, but the method is set up for channel A and B ?
Send me the method, I will open it in one of my Workstation and I will have a look.
Could be a problem of configuration but I'm not sure where...
