Hi just need some suggestions on a suitable dispersion media for particle size analysis of a highly water soluble drug. Solvent has to be Hexane and up. Need a suitable wetting agent to keep my drug dispersed.
Any Ideas!!!
For most of my water soluble particle methods, I use 0.2%SPAN-80 in Hexane, seems to work pretty well. Use a small amount of the mixture to wet the sample until it's a slurry, then introduce it into your analyzer filled with the hexane/SPAN mixture.
thanks for the suggestion will try that...
