450-GC newbie question.

Hi, we have a Varian 450-GC system that has proved a bit finnicky. The current issue we have is that it rejects activation of methods.

No other errors are present but on loading a method it reports this error: 'Activated method rejected by 450-GC; rejection code: 0XFFFFFFFF'

Am I missing something obvious?

what version software are you running?

The GC is running software version 4.05. Workstation is version 6.9.2.
