I've been searching endlessly for some troubleshooting information on this integrator but I haven't been successful. We have an HP 5890 Series II and a 3392a integrator that goes with it. I joined this lab after the previous grad student (who used the GC regularly) was already gone. It was working fine until there was a power outage. I came in the next day to find that the roll had emptied about halfway onto the floor and then stopped. I tried turning the integrator off, removing the paper, and turning the integrator back on. The Local LED lights, then goes off followed by the Ready LED flashing and the print-head moving to the center position. At this point it won't respond to anything and I'm not sure what's going on. Does anyone have an idea or possibly a bit of information as far as troubleshooting this unit?

It's been awhile and this is for a 3390A but I think they are similar enough. You may need to load the paper before the integrator will respond. Turn on the power and place the roll in the compartment then fold over one end of the paper so that it forms a point on one side. Now slide the point into the paper slot as far as you can then hold down the "ENTER" key until the paper feeds through. Next press the "ESC" key and you should be all set to go. If you can find the instruction manual, ignore this and follow those instructions. Best of luck!
