At our laboratory we have two clients running empower.
At one of the clients, if you try to enter a decimal using the "dot" on the numpad, Empower does not recognize the next digit as a decimal.

The Windows 7 keyboard settings look the same to me for both systems.
We used to have this problem before on the other system. A support engineer fixed it, and I only remember it was a quite easy setting in Windows.

Does anyone know which setting I need to alter?
Thanks in advance
Hi, I guess you will have to go into the control panel and look att the national settings. Choose decimal point and not deciaml comma. Hope it helps. /Csaba
...and make sure the NumLock key has been pressed (there should be a light telling you if it is on or not).
Thanks,

I have been able to solve it!
At "Text services and input languages" in Windows "Regional settings" the Default input language had to be "English (United States) - US".

Frankly this is not the setting on the other system. But it works for now.
